When we were asked to come up with an idea to make the 2nd floor above a studio in Oxford, MD a dual purpose room, a study that could double as a media room, we were happy to help. When they told us that the room was only 13 feet deep and about 9 feet wide, I knew we had our work cut out for us. A flatscreen TV would’ve taken up all of his shelf space where he wanted to keep his books. So, we went with a 90″ motorized movie screen that drops into viewing position with the touch of a button. It also retracts into it’s housing with the touch of a button when it’s not in use. We went with a powerful 5.1 channel surround sound system that was more than enough for this small space. The customer was thrilled with the result, and I can see why. This room looks great and sounds even better.
